Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using EquityGo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What EquityGo is

EquityGo is a personal finance tracking tool that helps you monitor your PCP car finance contract. Account features — adding contracts, mileage tracking, and equity calculations — are provided through the EquityGo mobile app; equitygo.co.uk provides free calculators, informational content, and early-access registration. All calculations — including estimated settlement figures, equity estimates, and projected mileage charges — are estimates only and are provided for informational purposes.

EquityGo is not a regulated financial service. Nothing on this platform — including the app, blog articles, and guides — constitutes financial or legal advice. Articles describe the law and industry practice as understood at the date of publication, and may become outdated as legislation, regulation, or Financial Ombudsman positions change. Always verify figures with your finance company, and check your own agreement terms, before making any financial decision.

3. Your account

Account creation and login happen in the EquityGo app, not on this website — registering your email for early access here does not itself create an account. Once you have an app account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with others. You must be at least 18 years old to use EquityGo.

4. Early adopter offer and billing

We are currently running a limited-time Early Adopter Offer: if you register your email for early access before EquityGo's dedicated app officially launches, the account you create in the app with that same email receives the full Pro plan free, for life — no trial, no card, and no charge, ever, for that account.

Once this offer period ends, new accounts instead receive a 30-day free trial of Pro (unlimited contracts, trend charts, and planning tools) — no card is required to start a trial. When the trial ends, the account reverts to the Free plan (1 contract, core settlement, equity, and VT figures) at no cost. You will not be charged unless you actively choose to subscribe to Pro.

Pro subscriptions beyond the Early Adopter Offer and free trial are not yet available for purchase. When they launch, Pro will be billed through the app store you downloaded EquityGo from (Google Play or Apple), governed by that store's payment terms and pricing.

Once Pro subscriptions launch, you'll be able to cancel at any time through your app store account's subscription settings (Google Play or Apple), per that store's policies. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access for the remainder of the billing period you've already paid for. We do not offer refunds for partial or unused billing periods. If a payment fails, Pro features are suspended until the payment issue is resolved or the subscription is cancelled — your data and Free-plan access are not affected.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that calculations are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Settlement figures in particular vary by lender and can only be confirmed by calling your finance company directly.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EquityGo shall not be liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the service or any content published on this website, including blog articles and guides, and including any financial decisions made based on estimates or information shown. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the EquityGo app; this also cancels any active Pro subscription. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a prominent notice within the service, with reasonable advance notice before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
